All of these sites offer a variety of features and extras to help people sell their vehicles. Since the sites specialize in selling cars, the owners can feel confident that a buyer will be found in due time.
If the buyer's car happens to be a classic, there are websites out there that specialize in selling classic cars. The classic auto sites offer the same range of services and features as a typical "sell my car" website but also have one special trait which makes classic car sites more suited for selling classic automobiles. Some people may find it difficult to break into the classic car community, so the websites maintain contacts within the vintage auto sales community.
One final option for sellers would be the old word-of-mouth method. Casually slipping in the words "I want to sell my car" in a conversation can do wonders. The likelihood that someone the seller knows personally would be interested in the car is low. However, there is a good chance that the seller's acquaintances know other people who might be interested. This is a very direct method of selling a car, though the primary drawback is that one can never guarantee if the person selling the car has any contacts that would be willing to buy the car.

A seller should, naturally, examine their scenario before making a hasty decision. Some things to be considered could be the car's model and the machine's repair history. The typical "sell my car" website works under the assumption that the sellers have gathered any pertinent information on the sale.
